Description
Enjoy a guided tour of Rome's most famous and unmissable monuments and landmarks: St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel. If you're visiting Rome these sights are simply unmissable, but visiting them is often a long and laborious process due to the number of tourists and big lines. With this tour, however, you will not only get the chance to skip the line and enter with no waiting time, but also visit everything with a professional guide that will be eager to share all their knowledge with you. The first stop of the tour will be St. Peter's Dome: you can choose to climb the 231 steps to the first level or take an elevator. The view is already pretty amazing from there, but if you want to see even more, you can go even higher and climb the 320 steps to the very top of the Dome. The next stop is going to be the Vatican Museum, where you will be guided around some famous galleries such as the Gallery of the Tapestries, the Gallery of the Candelabra, and the Gallery of the Maps. There, you will be able to admire paintings made by iconic Renaissance artists. Next, you finally reach the Sistine Chapel, frescoed masterfully by Michelangelo. Before entering you will be given a map to reference once inside, as it is forbidden to talk so your guide will not be able to explain this absolute masterpiece. Finally, you can choose to follow the guide inside St. Peter's Basilica, through a special door in the Sistine Chapel, or stay in the Vatican Museums to continue exploring on your own.The best experience at the best price
