Description
We will take the most famous and visited museum of Florence to your home, guiding you through a fantastic experience with high resolution pictures!
Born of an idea of Francesco I de’ Medici, the Uffizi is the best place to understand the main key facts of the Italian Art History, appreciate some of the most renowned masterpieces of all times and to discover how the daily life was in Tuscany centuries ago.
Our tour starts with the impressive panels depicted by Cimabue and Giotto, continues with Gentile da Fabriano and then it focuses on the discoveries made by the most important Renaissance artists. We can admire every detail of the Birth of Venus by Botticelli and see the Adoration of the Magi that Leonardo da Vinci couldn’t finish. We pay attention on Raphael and Michelangelo too, without forgetting the Urbino’s Venus by Titian, that came to Florence for a very specific reason. Our trip reaches up to Caravaggio, who looked for a way to ‘show’ the real and hard world in his paintings.
Obviously, the Uffizi Tour offers us the chance to talk about the building that is still hosting the outstanding collection, deeply linked with the history of the Medici family, which ruled Florence for a long time.
