Description
Florence is certainly known for its rich history, beautiful buildings, and unmissable museums and monuments. Two of its most known landmarks are the Uffizi Museum and Pitti Palace. With our tour, you will have the chance to visit both with a certified guide. Your visit will start at 11 am at the Uffizi Museum, where you will meet your guide under Dante's Statue. The visit will last about 2 hours, enough time to wander around the beautiful halls of the museum, and admire famous paintings such as Botticelli's Venere and Michelangelo's Tondo Doni. After lunch you will meet your guide again in front of Pitti Palace, ready to take you inside the Palatine Gallery. Maybe a lesser-known museum, the Palatine Gallery houses one of the most important collections in Italy of works from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. These paintings are not arranged in chronological order but based on a decorative and aesthetic criterion, giving the gallery a very unique charm. After the visit, you will also have a chance to visit ̶ without a guide ̶ Boboli Gardens, a true open-air museum, known for some beautiful works of art like the Grotta Garden and the secret Vasari corridor. With the tour, you also get free admission to the National Archeological Museum and the Museum of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure with the Uffizi ticket. The best experience at the best price
